HELP NEEDED AT WESTMORELAND COUNTY FAIR
AUGUST 15-23, 2008

Last year God opened a door for us to serve the community at the Westmoreland County Fair.  Your Greensburg District Funds provided over 2,000 cups of cold water to hot, thirsty people of all ages.  A mother’s nursing station, a prayer request box, camp Bibles, and Believe Again kites were welcomed by many.  We even had tables and chairs set up for people to come in out of the heat, sit down and eat their meals. We would like to continue serving the community at the Fair, but we need your help!

US: FLOOD BUCKETS NEED IS URGENT

UMCOR Sager Brown Depot has nearly depleted its supply of flood buckets after shipping thousands of buckets in response to recent floods in the Midwest. Sager Brown has shipped more than 5,000 flood buckets to affected annual conferences that have experienced severe flooding. Just two weeks into the Atlantic hurricane season, the Depot is down to 200 buckets. Your help is needed to replenish its inventory.
